Board member of JSDIVSR addressing the gathering on the topic “Town planning in Ancient India” at Vidarbha Sanshodhan Mandal , Nagpur. He was invited as the keynote speaker at Vidarbha Sanshodhan Mandal on the above topic. Present Audience were overwhelmed by the lecture and they came to know about how our Ancient Indian Literature includes all the techniques used at that time for town planning. Narad Shilpashastra was one of the references which Dr.Nene spoke upon. Maharshi Narad has written about the ring road concept which is generally observed in the outer part of the town which is included in todays town planning but mentioned earlier by him. There were lot of such mind blowing concepts on which Dr.Nene focussed on. Project Coordinator Anurag Deshpande and HOD Ved Shreyas Kurhekar were also present.
